20 Minute Chili & Garlic Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil divided
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 12-15 stems fresh green beans, cut into halves
- 1 cup Maggie Gin's Chili & Garlic Sauce OR Traditional Stir Fry Sauce
- 2 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 Tablespoons chopped chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 2 Tablespoons of olive oil in a deep skillet (a wok is preferred, but any deep skillet will do!) on a medium flame.
- Once the oil is heated, add in the chicken pieces. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the chicken pieces and set aside.
- To the same skillet, add the remaining 1 Tablespoon of olive oil, then add in the bell peppers and green beans. Sauté for 6-8 minutes until the veggies are slightly cooked.
- Stir the chicken back into the skillet along with Maggie Gin's Chili & Garlic Sauce and cook for 3-4 minutes until the chicken is coated with the sauce.
- Finally add the sesame seeds, if using, and toss to combine.
- Garnish the chicken stir fry with chives if desired and serve it on a bed of rice.
This recipe can also be made as a more traditional (and more mild) stir fry with Maggie Gin's Traditional Stir Fry Sauce!
