Job Description

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in shaping the marketing strategy for our business and new product grocery service launch. Under the guidance of our Community Manager and with mentorship from our CEO, you will gain hands-on experience in marketing while contributing to a meaningful mission. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your marketing skills, build your resume, and make a positive impact in your community.

  • Collaborate with the Community Manger to create and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in developing content for digital and offline marketing channels.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence, engaging with our community.
  • Support email marketing efforts by creating newsletters and tracking performance.
  • Contribute ideas and creative solutions to promote our grocery service.
  • Plan and execute a movie screening of “Common Ground” in Petaluma.
  • Participate in community events, workshops, and farm tours to connect with local residents.
  • Learn from industry experts during approximately two hours of monthly mentorship with our CEO.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student with at least two years of study (Marketing, Business, Communications or related majors preferred).
  • Passion for sustainability and community building.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and a willingness to think outside the box.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing principles and social media platforms.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team.
